




Brandon Hinton is a South African–born, London–based creative director and photographer.
Specialising in strategic campaigns and creative content for luxury fashion and lifestyle brands, Brandon’s philosophy is defined by timeless aesthetics rooted in commercial clarity. He was previously the Creative Director of The Rake, and is now the Founder and Creative Director of Meridian — a creative consultancy dedicated to visual storytelling for heritage and luxury brands.







Brandon Hinton (b. 1992 Cape Town; lives and works in London) is a creative director and photographer working across many genres to explore and document fashion as a tool for change.

Instantly recognisable for his mastery of storytelling and his emphatic passion for the past, Brandon's unique ability to capture moments in time that place the viewer inside the story, through his creative direction and photography, has propelled him to into the world of luxury.
In 2020, Brandon was awarded runner-up for Africa's Fashion Photographer of the Year at the Africa Photography Awards.
 
In 2021, he hosted his first solo exhibition, End Gender-Based Violence Now, in Cape Town — a series of striking fashion editorials raising awareness of South Africa’s LGBTQ+ gender-based violence crisis. The project supported The Empire Fund and their school-based education program.
 
From 2022 to 2025, Brandon served as Creative Director at The Rake, before founding Meridian, where he now leads as Creative Director — partnering with heritage and luxury brands to deliver timeless, story-led campaigns.
